Empowering Local Schools 2012-2013

Claremont is one of 131 Queensland schools identified to participate in the Empowering Local Schools National Partnership. It is a program supported by the Australian and Queensland Governments that empowers schools to better respond to local school community needs and to drive systemic changes that enhance local decision making for all schools and increase student outcomes.

It will provide a one off grant between $42000 and $50000 to the school to implement local strategies and increase community engagement by developing stronger links with parents and the wider community including local businesses, agencies and community groups.
