Camps
Individual class teachers may organise a class camp on an annual basis. Camps are approved by the P&C and the principal. Curriculum activity risk assessments are completed as part of the camp submission. Parents are required to pay all costs for their child to access the camp. Camps are fun, educational activities which help your child to develop independence in self care, and provide experiences across a variety of contexts and how to work as part of a team situation.
Excursions
School excursions support the implementation of educational programs across the school. Parents are notified in advance of the purpose, date, venue and cost of school excursions. Curriculum activity risk assessments are completed for all school excursions into the community.
